New Homepage Design

After two weeks of developing my website goes online with a new design. My aim was to improve the usability and have a new Web 2.0 look.

New innovations:

• seperated Homepage
• JavaScript Tabs
• Tabbed Sidebar
• Excerpts
• Featured Article Slider
• some more jQuery Scipts
• CSS3 – round Corners, Text-Shadow

The browser comparison clearly shows the strengths and weaknesses of the various browsers. The Internet Explorer gets the worst of it, he does not support CSS3, jerky and laggy the many JavaScripts are just too much for him. Firefox does everything correctly, but JavaScripts are not as fluid as in Chrome. Google's Chrome has the best prerformance the animations are very fluid and the display correctly.
